Karen Peterson-- My lifelong love of working with older adults began when I was in high school and worked in a nursing home in Detroit.  That experience and those residents had a profound impact on me that continues to this day.

After packing and unpacking for moves to several homes here in Dallas, being the go-to person for friends and family when they needed help organizing kitchens, closets and garages, and working with my sister to clear out our dad's home when he passed away,  I realized that I have a real talent for organizing and downsizing.  Those skills, combined with my affinity for older adults, were the perfect foundation for a new career.

I love going to work each day! Whether our clients need assistance with just a closet or two, or a major move to a new home, each situation is a challenge and provides a sense of satisfaction when completed.  I enjoy getting to know our clients and am proud of the fact that our company helps to simplify their lives and makes their moves as stress-free as possible.

I have a BA in Psychology from the University of Michigan and an MA in Long Term Care Administration from the University of North Texas.  Service and a personal touch have been the common denominators in my work and volunteer experience in the field of aging and in university and secondary school administration here in Dallas.

On a personal note, I am very fortunate to have a wonderful husband, two sons of whom I am very proud, two very special daughter-in-laws and two adorable grandsons.  Life is good!

Nancy Simons -- The need for this service is very real for me. As a long distance daughter, I understand the concerns a family faces with a later life move.  Many of our clients are facing these challenges alone with no family available to help. It is my privilege to provide a service dedicated to assisting our clients with the physical and emotional demands of downsizing and relocating.

My path into this service was inspired by my passion for organizing and my personal relationships with older adults.  After learning about the senior move management profession, I knew this was what I wanted to do.  Raising a family, working in education, and volunteering has provided me the perfect combination of skills and experience for providing compassionate, efficient and professional service.  Helping older adults is something I truly enjoy.  I love getting to know our clients and I love hearing their stories.  It's very rewarding to see our clients arrive at their new home, delighted to find their furniture in just the right place, boxes unpacked, and everything put away.

I value home, family and tradition.  A transplanted Yankee from Pennsylvania, I have resided in Dallas for many years and currently live in an empty nest in Preston Hollow with my husband, Wyatt.  We are blessed with two wonderful sons that I am very proud of, two lovely daughters-in-law, and three precious grandchildren.

I look forward for the opportunity to get to know you and help simplify your next move.
